Congratulations to Georgia Moo on becoming a RESP-FIT Accredited Fit Tester. Georgia is now accredited to conduct respirator fit testing via the following methods:
- Qualitative (QLFT) – Aerosol Taste Test (ATT)
- Quantitative (QNTF) – Ambient Aerosol Condensation Nuclei-Counting (CNC)
Respirator fit testing is required to confirm that a close-fitting respirator fits correctly; this is a crucial step to ensuring that a respirator will provide effective protection against airborne hazards.
RESP-FIT is a national respirator fit testing training and accreditation program developed by the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH).
Further details about the RESP-FIT accreditation program can be found on the RESP-FIT website.
